Timonium-North Baltimore offers various attractions and activities suitable for individuals with diverse mobility needs, providing various wheelchair-friendly and stroller-friendly venues that cater to all. 

Macaroni KID Timonium-North Baltimore wanted to highlight 5 businesses, parks, and attractions where everyone can fully participate and enjoy.

Meadowood has 7 athletic fields, a playground and 3 pavilions. The .8miles paved path is easy to navigate on and provides plenty of bleachers or benches to rest. When entering the park, you will go over a bridge where the Deep Run stream runs, and you can catch a break from the sun.

Angel Park is the county's largest all-inclusive playground and was designed for children with special needs. There are two age appropriate, fenced in areas, and include swings for those with disabilities. It's also conveniently located next to the Perry Hall Library.

FIT4MOM is the nation’s leading prenatal and postnatal fitness program, providing fitness classes and a network of moms to support every stage of motherhood. From pregnancy, through postpartum and beyond, our fitness and wellness programs help make moms strong in body, mind, and spirit. You can find their stroller friendly classes at Meadowood Regional Park or Hunt Valley Towne Center.

We Rock The Spectrum provides a safe, nurturing, and fun environment to foster learning, exploration and safe sensory experiences. There are sensory based toys to improve the auditory process and fine motor skills. The best part is the calming room to regulate the little ones emotions and reduce negative sensory input.

The Sensory Motor Gym program is for children and young adults of all ages with any minimal to severe physical, mental, emotional, social, language, and/or sensory challenges. The Program emphasizes sensory and vestibular stimulation through swinging, rolling, jumping and using suspension equipment(net, tire, trapeze, rings).
